7 October 2026
Your AI can now read any page, contact businesses and plan with you
- Read any link:
actuent_get_pagereads a page live and returns it as data: prices and stock (on Shopify shops every size with a cart link), events, opening hours, booking links, recipes and FAQs. Pages read this way join the index. - Contact a business (Pro): "ask the restaurant if they have gluten-free options" emails the business with your address as reply-to; booking requests go to businesses that claimed their site, which accept or decline. Owners see them in Analytics → Inbox.
- Watch any page (Pro): "tell me when tickets go on sale" or "when it's back in stock".
- One thing, everything:
actuent_aboutjoins an artist, brand or venue with its site, events and prices. - Events: genres for concerts, add to calendar, directions, and many more daytime events: every Danish public library, Oslo and Stockholm libraries, Chicago comedy.
- Plans you can share, "what's on" share cards, today's hours and closing time on places, landmark opening hours ("is the Louvre open on Monday?"), and results that say how fresh they are.
- For site owners: make any site AI-ready with one line (Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify), a live LAWP badge, an AI report of what people ask about you, and an email if your lawp.json breaks.
- Assistants can pass the user's area and preferences for one request (never stored), and answers cite their sources.

A weekly digest for site owners, dishes with prices, best-of pages and a what's-on widget
- Site owners get one weekly digest: score, the searches you came up for, visits, and what agents looked for on your site but couldn't find. Plus a reminder before public holidays if your hours don't cover them.
- Search: dishes with prices from local menus ("margherita under 100 kr copenhagen"), shops compared side by side ("zalando vs boozt"), place suggestions as you type ("caf" → cafés in Copenhagen), and better brand spelling ("zalanod" → Zalando).
- New pages: the best places per city and category (e.g. best cafés in Copenhagen), and "recently fixed" sites on the checklist.
- A "what's on" widget for venues and city sites (
whatson.js), and/api/events. - Pro keys get a heads-up when they come close to 60 searches a minute. Agents get a "Lawpy says" tip when nothing is found.
- www. copies of sites are merged, the ops page shows a data-quality score, and slow searches come with a Lawpy mini game.
30 September 2026
For agencies, Discord, search inside a site and prices in your currency
- Search: "why" each result was picked, search inside any site from its Actuent page, and product prices in DKK, EUR, SEK, NOK, GBP, USD, CHF or PLN on humans.actuent.ai.
- Trends shows this week's top movers: sites whose agent-readiness rose most. Site pages show "open now" by the name.
- For agencies: a Clients page in Analytics (up to 20 sites with scores and next fixes), and the checklist checks up to 50 sites at once with a CSV.
- Actuent for Discord, more events from venues' calendar feeds, and the status page shows speed for search, site pages, autocomplete and badges.

- Better products: every important word of the search has to match (no more golf clubs for "nike shoes"), kids' and pet items only when asked for, and no more than two per shop at the top.
- Lawpy is everywhere: badges, link previews, emails, 404 pages, the WordPress plugin and a secret search on humans.actuent.ai.

29 September 2026
Names first, answers from sites, and shopping in your market
- Names first: search a company, product or place by name ("localilabs", "louvre tickets") and its own site comes first, followed by the company's other projects. Famous names use their official website.
- Comparisons: "notion vs obsidian" puts both sites first and adds a
comparisonfield. - Questions about a site: "does basecamp have a free plan" puts that site first, with an
answer: sentences from its own pages and the page each came from. - Shopping in your market: products from shops in your country and currency come first, and shops you can't realistically buy from are left out. "shoes under 500 dkk in copenhagen" means Danish shops, and sites in the searched city's country rank higher.
- Local needs: "vegan", "dog friendly", "open late", "brunch sunday" and "open now" use the place's features and opening hours. Closed and vacant places are never shown.
- A redesigned search page at humans.actuent.ai, with products, events, answers and comparisons.
- Faster when it's busy:
fast=1gives a quick first answer, and the best-known sites always come back even when the full search is slow. - City museums: "museo madrid" or "musée paris" puts the city's best-known museums first. Misspelt names ("spotfy") get a "did you mean".
- Meet Lawpy, our mascot, on the search page and in the docs.
28 September 2026
Search that understands questions, typos and "near me"
- Ask in plain words: "where can I buy running shoes in London?" and "coffee near me" just work, and misspellings get a "did you mean".
- Better results: exact brand searches put the brand first, the page that answers the search comes first ("basecamp pricing"), results people open rank higher, and error pages, bot checks and parked domains are gone.
- Every result has a snippet and a match score; responses can include related searches and upcoming events.
- New search options: limit and offset, category, city, open_now, lang and sort.
- Autocomplete: api.actuent.ai/api/autocomplete, used by the search page, which also has shareable links.
- SDKs: @actuent/sdk 0.6.0 and actuent 0.4.0 handle busy times politely; the next versions add the new options.
28 September 2026
Clear messages when it's busy, and Pro first
- Clear messages when it's busy: limited or empty results now say why in plain English (a
messageandnotices), and busy responses ask you to try again shortly instead of failing silently. Errors & busy times. - Pro goes first: when lots of people are searching, Pro keeps the full search, live site visits and map tools; free searches get a simpler search from the index, with a notice.
- MCP tools answer with a readable explanation instead of a bare error, and rate limits say how long to wait.
- Better ranking: well-known sites are considered first, and a business's city, type and category are searchable ("barber amsterdam").
- Faster, better index updates: sites are converted with a mix of rules and AI, popular sites first, and dead domains are removed from search.
27 September 2026
Search in your language, local businesses and tool examples
- Search in your own language: common words in 11 European languages (and compounds like laufschuhe) are translated instantly, so passwort-manager finds the same sites as password manager.
- Why this result: every search result has a
matchednote saying which words matched where. - Results that match every word of a search rank above partial matches.
- Local businesses from OpenStreetMap: shops, restaurants, clinics and venues with a website are added city by city, with address, phone and opening hours.
- What's on: venues' events pages are read twice a week.
- More shops: every indexed site is checked for Shopify and WooCommerce products, not only the most popular ones; checkout links work for all Shopify products.
- Cleaner page text: cookie banners, menus and copyright lines are removed.
- Site pages: breadcrumbs, full schema.org business data, and a weekly State of the AI web post with an RSS feed.
- Tool examples: a real request and response for every tool.
actuent_nearbyunderstands everyday words ("coffee" finds cafés); events leave out betting spam.- Security and privacy: webhooks only go to public https addresses, trending shows only plain-word searches, and very long queries are refused.
27 September 2026
Faster search, checkout links and the Shopify app
- Search is much faster: known sites answer in about a second instead of up to 25, and keyword searches overlap their steps.
- Better results: sites are ranked with real popularity data, and adult and gambling sites are left out unless asked for. A weekly benchmark tracks quality.
- Checkout links: Shopify products come with a
cart_url, andactuent_cartputs several items in one checkout. - Actuent for Shopify: publishes a store's LAWP automatically (coming to the Shopify App Store).
npx @actuent/lawp: check, validate, create and test LAWP files from the command line.- Several API keys per account, with labels, revoking and a key history (Analytics → Account).
- Free results only mention Pro when something was actually held back.
- Search engines hear about new site pages right away (IndexNow).
- Abuse protection: clients that keep hammering the API are blocked for an hour.
27 September 2026
Connected accounts and safer site claiming
- Connect your account on a site (LAWP 0.4 user accounts) so your assistant can do things like reorder: sign in to the site once, and Actuent keeps the token encrypted and refreshes it. New tool:
actuent_accounts. - Claiming a site now needs your personal verification code, as a homepage meta tag, a DNS record or a field in your lawp.json. Publishing a LAWP alone is no longer enough, so nobody else can claim your site.
- WordPress plugin 1.3.1: paste your verification code in Settings → Actuent to claim your site.
27 September 2026
LAWP 0.4
- Link your LAWP from any page (
<link rel="lawp">, a Link header or robots.txt): Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and Webflow sites can publish their own now. - Safety labels: actions that cost money or can't be undone need the user's confirmation; Actuent enforces it.
- Quotes (price and availability before committing), standard results and errors, and long-running actions with
actuent_action_status. - Business details, hours and offers in LAWP itself; user accounts via OAuth 2.1; translations and split files for big sites.
- Requests are signed with standard HTTP Message Signatures (RFC 9421, as in Web Bot Auth) as well as Actuent's original headers.
- A JSON Schema and conformance tests for LAWP; the LAWP Checker validates against it.
- WordPress plugin 1.3.0, Cloudflare Worker 1.2.0, @actuent/sdk 0.5.0 and Python 0.3.0 support 0.4.
- The crawlers try harder before saving a site as minimal: the rendered page, www/http, llms.txt and the sitemap.
26 September 2026

actuent_trip: a 1–4 day city trip with where to stay and a timed plan for each day.actuent_find_service: find a service or dish with its price, e.g. "skin fade under €30" in Amsterdam.actuent_ask_site: answer a question from one site's own pages.- Filters for nearby places, plans and trips: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, wheelchair accessible, outdoor seating, wifi, kids, dogs.
